Todos os anos, pessoas físicas e pessoas jurídicas devem fazer sua declaração de Imposto de Renda (IR). Assim, normalmente, os documentos são entregues entre os meses de março e abril. Entretanto, alguns brasileiros que declaram Imposto de Renda podem ficar animados com a notícia a seguir.
Isso porque o novo presidente, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, prometeu aumentar a isenção do IR pessoa física para quem recebe até R$ 5.000,00 por mês.
Contudo, essa novidade não deve ser aplicada para a declaração do IR deste ano. Assim, uma reforma nas regras do IR pessoa física deve ser discutida durante os próximos quatro anos.
Brasileiros que declaram Imposto de Renda esperam o aumento das isenções
O problema com o IR pessoa física é que a sua tabela está defasada. Assim, se levarmos em conta o período de 1996 até 2022, a defasagem acumulada seria de quase 150%.
Dessa forma, pessoas físicas que recebessem até R$ 4.465,00 por mês não precisariam fazer a declaração de IR. Entretanto, a última atualização na tabela foi feita em 2015 e os valores não acompanharam a defasagem.
Assim, os brasileiro que declaram Imposto de Renda são aqueles que recebem mais de R$ 1.903,98 por mês, sendo que a alíquota do imposto aumenta conforme os rendimentos também aumentam:
7% para quem recebe entre R$ 1.903,99 e R$ 2.826,65;
15% para rendimentos entre R$ 2.826,66 até R$ 3.751,05;
22,5% para quem ganha entre R$ 3.751,06 e R$ 4.664,68;
27,5% para quem recebe mais de R$ 4.664,68.
Isenções
Nem todos os brasileiros precisam declarar Imposto de Renda. Isso porque a legislação concede a isenção do IR a determinados grupos de pessoas. Por exemplo:
Pessoas que sofram de algumas doenças graves;
Pessoas cujos rendimentos no ano base foram inferiores a R$ 28.559,70;
Indivíduos com mais de 65 anos, desde que seu rendimento com pensão ou aposentadoria não passe de R$ 24.751,74. Além disso, ele não pode ter nenhuma outra fonte de renda;
Pessoas que foram incluídas como dependentes em outras declarações são isentas.
