O ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, se reúne na noite desta segunda-feira (16/10) com o presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Luís Roberto Barroso, para tratar de uma ação que pode mudar a correção de rendimentos do Fundo de Garantia por Tempo de Serviço (FGTS).
A Corte deve decidir o meio de correção do Fundo de Garantia, atualmente em 3% ao ano mais Taxa Referencial (TR), que rende próximo de zero. O pedido, feito por meio da Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade (ADI) 5.090, é que a TR seja substituída por um índice de inflação, que pode ser o INPC (Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor) ou o IPCA-E (Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo — Especial).

O julgamento está na pauta do STF de quarta-feira (18), após suspensão do caso por pedido de vistas do ministro Nunes Marques. No entanto, a previsão é de que a ação não seja apreciada nesta semana, devido a outros itens que foram colocados como prioridades.
