Reforma em alto forno da Gerdau em Ouro Branco aumenta o número pessoas e veículos na cidade

Conforme divulgado em diversos meios de comunicação, a Gerdau Ouro Branco está realizando manutenção em seu alto forno e, com isso, gerando centenas de empregos para nossa região.
Porém, nossa preocupação é com o contingente de pessoas e veículos que passaram a circular pela cidade, afinal, o trânsito por aqui não anda sendo dos melhores.
Infelizmente, devemos redobrar a nossa atenção quanto ao trânsito em Ouro Branco, afinal, o número de carros e ônibus que circulam em nossa cidade atualmente é muito maior.
Hoje, devido a obras feitas nas vias da cidade (centro e avenida Mariza), deixam ainda mais complicada a vida dos motoristas, porque não se encontra lugar para estacionar com facilidade, fazendo com que alguns "motoristas" estacionem em qualquer local, dificultando ainda mais o trânsito.
Temos observado em alguns horários o transtorno para se transitar em algumas ruas da cidade devido ao fluxo de ônibus que transportam trabalhadores. Até mesmo os coletivos da cidade estão tendo para embarque e desembarque dos passageiros por causa das vagas preenchidas por carros, onde deveria ser exclusivo para ônibus.
Nossa preocupação é ainda maior por se tratar de veículos grandes e, assim, podendo aumentar o número de acidentes de trânsito. Pensamos que as causas apontadas para estes acidentes, estão falta de sinalização adequada, aumento de frota de veículos, má formação dos condutores, desrespeito às leis de trânsito, cultura da velocidade, e, sobretudo, alinhada à falta de leis e engenharia de trânsito adequada em Ouro Branco, tudo podendo causar acidentes, inclusive, com morte.
Por isso, acreditamos na necessidade de uma campanha de impacto, que sensibilize a sociedade a mudar esse comportamento.
