O Pix, sistema de pagamentos e transferências eletrônicas do Banco Central (BC), pode passar a ter taxas de uso. O próprio BC afirma que tem a intenção de fazer a ferramenta ter tarifas de uso aos seus usuários ainda neste ano.

Por meio de suas novas propostas, o Pix Saque e o Pix Troco, o BC pretende cobrar taxas de uso. Essas modalidades de Pix, atualmente em consulta pública, permitem o saque de dinheiro em estabelecimentos comerciais parceiros.
De acordo com o Banco Central, uma das regras dessas novas modalidades é a possibilidade do usuário fazer até quatro saques gratuitos por mês. Além disso, o BC estuda um limite de saque de R$ 500 por dia.
Dessa forma, a partir do quinto saque, o usuário pagaria por taxas de uso. A cobrança da tarifa ficaria por conta do banco responsável pela operação. Assim, a partir disso, essas modalidades do Pix deixariam de ser gratuitas. Conforme estimativa do BC, as duas novas modalidades devem estar disponíveis aos brasileiros no segundo semestre de 2021.
No Pix Saque, o usuário vai poder fazer o login em sua conta bancária a partir do celular. Em seguida, ele vai fazer a leitura de um QR Code disponibilizado no caixa. Logo após, ele deve escolher o valor que vai sacar e aprovar a transação. Dessa forma, ao invés de ganhar um produto, o cliente fica com o dinheiro em espécie do caixa do estabelecimento. Com relação ao Pix Saque, a transação engloba apenas dinheiro.
Já no Pix Troco, o saque é conjugado com uma compra. Assim, ao comprar um produto, e fazer o pagamento do mesmo, o usuário realizaria uma transação com um valor maior. E, dessa forma, ficaria com a diferença do valor em notas físicas.
Além disso, o BC cita que os comércios vão poder escolher suas próprias regras; tais como escolher os dias em que o serviço vai funcionar, se vai contar com os dois novos serviços, e como vai funcionar o saque.
