Companheiros,
Num momento dramático para os sindicatos do Brasil, em que muitos fecharam suas portas, e outros, para sobreviverem, tiveram que vender parte considerável de seus patrimônios, também, Centrais Sindicais, Federações e Confederações seguiram o mesmo drástico caminho. Tudo graças à forte crise financeira que caiu sobre o sindicalismo brasileiro, com o corte da contribuição sindical compulsória e, consequentemente, o seu custeio tornado facultativo.
Mesmo numa crise como essa, o nosso Sindicato está praticamente na contramão dessa crise.
Temos um patrimônio imobiliário valioso, não demitimos funcionários, não devemos a ninguém e, muito importante destacar, mantivemos todos os trabalhos em prol dos nossos associados decerto que, também, em muitas vezes, ajudamos sem distinção os metalúrgicos de nossa base, associados ou não, e, enfim, oferecemos suporte às entidades filantrópicas de nossa região.
Nada disso seria possível se não fosse a administração séria e competente da Diretoria Gestora do nosso Sindicato.
Publicamos no dia 30 de dezembro de 2019 o edital de convocação da eleição sindical, porém, não apresentando chapa de oposição para a eleição, essa ocorrerá em junho de 2020, com o período de mandato de 2020 a 2024.
Temos pedido a vocês, companheiros, associados do Sindicato, o apoio que sempre têm nos dado, principalmente em nossas eleições.
